Tom Holland has referred to Zendaya as his “wife” during a recent podcast appearance, marking another instance where the actor has seemingly confirmed their private marriage. The comment occurred during a segment on the U.K.-based podcast “Dish,” hosted by DJ Nick Grimshaw and chef Angela Hartnett. When prompted to choose someone to accompany him on a holiday to Greece, Holland replied, "I think probably my wife would be pretty good." He jokingly added that it would be unusual to select someone else, noting, “It would be a bit strange if I went, 'Sorry babe, I’m gonna take Matt [Damon, who stars in ‘The Odyssey’ alongside Holland and Zendaya] actually.'"

This latest remark follows a June profile in Esquire, where Holland appeared to confirm that he and Zendaya had tied the knot. When asked about AI-generated images that falsely depicted their wedding, Holland paused before explaining that he did not need to address the images with his family because "they were all there."

Holland and Zendaya, who met while filming the 2017 Marvel movie “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” have been open about their collaborative professional life. While discussing his role as Telemachus in Christopher Nolan’s film "The Odyssey," which was released on July 17, Holland shared that he consulted with Zendaya before accepting the part. He recalled telling her about the offer from Nolan, to which she jokingly replied, "I’ll leave you if you don’t do ‘The Odyssey.’”

The couple’s relationship was officially confirmed in 2021. In a separate interview with Wired this July, Holland again alluded to their bond while discussing Zendaya’s character, Athena, and her relationship with Matt Damon’s Odysseus. When asked if the characters had a romantic connection, Holland stated, “No, because she’s married to me.” Matt Damon, who was present for the interview, laughed and agreed with the response. The two actors are set to reunite on screen once more in "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," which is scheduled to arrive in theaters on July 30.

Grimshaw responded by joking about spending 10 days in Mykonos with Damon.

Holland’s comment comes after he appeared to confirm in June that he and Zendaya had tied the knot. In an Esquire profile published June 16, Holland discussed AI-generated images that falsely appeared to show the couple’s wedding.
