A public dinner outing in Venice has sparked a series of serious allegations against Nigerian goalkeeper Maduka Okoye. The footballer was spotted at Gio's restaurant inside The St. Regis Venice on Sunday alongside Cardi B, an event documented in a video shared on X. Shortly after the footage surfaced, Jelicia Westhoff, Okoye's former partner and the mother of their son, Isaiah Amiel Okoye, took to Instagram to share a string of accusations against him.
In her social media posts, Westhoff claimed she had remained silent for years to protect the footballer's career, but alleged that he had been both abusive and unfaithful throughout their relationship. She wrote, "You was cheating on me with everything," adding that she had supported him through difficult times, including a period when he was recovering from an operation and struggling emotionally. According to Westhoff, she provided financial support before his professional success and cared for him when he felt abandoned by others. She also challenged him to be open regarding his sexuality, claiming he had previously admitted to her that he was interested in "both sides."
Westhoff further alleged that Okoye has been a largely absent father, rarely visiting or calling their son, and claimed he uses the child to punish her following their separation. She recounted instances in December where their son was admitted to intensive care multiple times, alleging that the goalkeeper never visited the child in the hospital. Westhoff stated that she had given him "a million chances" to co-parent, but claimed he refused to do so unless it was on his own terms, noting that she had avoided legal action out of concern for their son's well-being.
The dinner in Venice involving Okoye and Cardi B occurred amid ongoing public interest in the rapper's personal life. Cardi B and NFL star Stefon Diggs, who share a son born on November 4, went public with their relationship in June 2025. The pair were last seen together in January during the New England Patriots' AFC Championship Game victory, though they unfollowed each other on Instagram shortly after the Super Bowl.
