Two U.S. service members were killed and one remains missing following an Iranian attack in Jordan on Friday, according to the U.S. military. In addition to the fatalities and the missing individual, four other American service members were wounded in the incident and required medical evacuation. According to official reports, 1 drone was used in the strike, and 2 separate facilities were impacted during the assault.
U.S. Central Command reported on Saturday that the four personnel who were transported to Jordanian hospitals for treatment have since been discharged. Regarding the status of the fallen, the military indicated that it will withhold the identities of those killed until 24 hours after their next of kin have been properly notified, citing a desire to respect the families involved.

"Out of respect for the families, CENTCOM will withhold additional information, including the identities of the fallen warriors, until 24 hours after the next of kin have been notified," it added in the statement.
