Meghan and Prince Harry directed criticism toward Big Tech, specifically targeting Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company, xAI. The couple condemned the firm for its efforts to block a Minnesota state ban on AI "nudification" technology, describing the tools as enabling "predatory behavior" against women and children.
The couple’s public activities follow a recent, controversial trip to the United Kingdom, which marked their first reunion with King Charles III and Queen Camilla in four years. This visit was viewed as a step toward reconciliation following the rift that began six years ago when the couple stepped back from senior royal duties and moved to California. Meghan did not accompany Prince Harry for the London portion of his trip, reportedly due to complications regarding security measures and a rescinded invitation for him to stay at Buckingham Palace.
