Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has declared that the partnership among Turkic nations reaches far beyond the geographical borders marked on maps. In a video message delivered on Sunday to the Turkic World Youth Gathering at the Kocaeli Congress Center, the President emphasized that the collective journey of these nations is anchored in a deep-rooted history, a rich culture, and strong bonds of affection.
The event, which is being held in Türkiye's northwestern Kocaeli province, operates under the motto "Shared Heritage, One Heart." President Erdogan expressed his pleasure that the gathering—which he had personally announced during a youth meeting in May—was successfully taking place. He welcomed the young participants from across the Turkic world and extended his greetings and affection to what he described as "friendly and brotherly peoples."
During his address, the President commended the Justice and Development (AK) Party's Directorate for Relations with Turkic States, along with all those involved in the organization of the event. He noted the significance of the interaction between the "children of Anatolia" and their peers from different regions of the Turkic world. He pledged that the government would continue to provide the strongest possible support to the youth who are uniting their energies toward a common ideal of a prosperous future.
Looking toward upcoming diplomatic efforts, President Erdogan highlighted the 13th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, which is scheduled to be held in Ankara at the end of the month. He stated that Türkiye aims to advance the ideal of "unity in language, thought and action" through this summit. The President concluded his message by wishing the gathering success and offering his final remarks, stating, "I entrust you all to God's protection. Stay well."
