A public feud has broken out between Udonis Haslem and Draymond Green following an alleged physical altercation between Miami Heat teammates Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro. The incident became a major talking point throughout the league, prompting Green to use his podcast to question Haslem’s silence on the matter.
Green, the Golden State Warriors forward, referenced his own 2022 practice altercation with Jordan Poole while criticizing the former Heat veteran. Green claimed that Haslem was one of his most vocal critics during that time and expressed frustration that the same energy was not applied to the situation involving his former teammates. Green noted that he found the comparison particularly striking because he viewed Adebayo and Herro as players that Haslem helped raise.
Haslem did not remain silent, firing back at Green on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. He dismissed Green’s comparison as delusional, arguing that the circumstances surrounding the two incidents were entirely different. Haslem stated, "If you think your big 32-year-old, 3 or 4 rings at the time, having a*s swinging on a 23-year-old Jordan Poole at the time is the same, then you are even more delusional than I thought." Haslem further noted, "2nd, anyone who knows Bam knows he’s as strong as baby bear," emphasizing that if Adebayo had fully unleashed his strength, the outcome would have been significantly different.
The former Heat icon also issued a sharp warning to Green, suggesting that he keep his distance. Haslem stated that he does not vibe with the Warriors star and warned him against further public mentions, adding that he is no longer handing out hall passes. This latest exchange follows Haslem’s previous vocal criticism of Green’s behavior in 2022, when he described the Warriors forward’s role as an initiator in team altercations as something that made him cringe.
