NFL player Tyreek Hill is intensifying his legal efforts in his ongoing divorce case against Keeta Vaccaro by targeting his mother-in-law, Alesia Vaccaro. According to legal documents surfaced on Saturday, Hill claims that Alesia has failed to produce requested items, including phone records and text messages exchanged with her daughter, despite a court order issued in early June. Hill’s legal team reportedly granted her an additional two-week grace period to comply with the request.
The legal filing notes that Alesia’s counsel informed Hill's representatives that she had suffered a stroke and intended to provide the necessary documentation prior to her scheduled August deposition. Hill, who stated he became aware of her medical situation on May 27, argues that more than eight weeks have since elapsed. He is now requesting that the court mandate the delivery of these documents within one week.
The marriage between Hill and Keeta Vaccaro began in November 2023, and the couple welcomed their daughter, Capri, on November 25, 2024. Following the birth, Alesia moved into the couple's Sunny Isles Beach condominium to assist with childcare. The relationship deteriorated following a domestic dispute at the same residence on April 7, 2025.
During that incident, Alesia contacted 911 from the 35th-floor condo, expressing fear for both her daughter and granddaughter. In the recorded emergency call, she characterized Hill as "crazy," "very aggressive," and "impulsive." Police reports indicate the confrontation centered on disagreements regarding couples therapy and Hill’s participation in caring for their infant. Authorities stated that Hill threw a laptop during the argument and that Alesia intervened when he forcefully grabbed the child. Hill has denied making any threats and maintained that he possessed the right to hold his daughter. Keeta Vaccaro filed for divorce the following day, on April 8.
Hill, who was released by the Miami Dolphins on February 16, is currently an unsigned free agent while rehabilitating from two surgeries on his left knee. The divorce proceedings have seen various disputes, including disagreements over property repairs and spousal support, with Hill previously alleging that Keeta attempted to call off the divorce earlier this year.
