The summer transfer window is intensifying as Serie A clubs finalize their squads for the 2026-27 campaign. Juventus continues to face challenges in their search for attacking options. While the club previously reached an agreement with Randal Kolo Muani, they are struggling to finalize a deal with PSG, who are demanding a fee that the Bianconeri are unlikely to match.
With only Lois Openda and Arkadiusz Milik currently available in the attack, Juventus is reportedly reconsidering Crystal Palace striker Jean Philippe Mateta as a potential alternative.
Chelsea’s defensive roster has become a primary focus for Italian teams. Roma is currently in contact with Axel Disasi’s representatives, with Chelsea reportedly setting a €20 million asking price for the defender. Disasi represents the third Chelsea player linked to Serie A recently.
Napoli has enquired about Benoît Badiashile, while Como remains interested in Trevoh Chalobah, despite having two previous bids rejected by the London club for the defender, who carries a €35 million price tag.
Elsewhere, Inter has shown genuine interest in Tottenham centre-back Romero and has reportedly received the green light to initiate negotiations. Tottenham, however, is demanding €50 million for the player. Inter has cooled their interest in Chalobah and is currently unwilling to pursue a deal for Djed Spence, as Tottenham seeks over €40 million for the former Genoa man.
Meanwhile, Venezia is nearing a club-record signing of Nigeria international Akor Adams for €17 million plus add-ons. Other notable moves include Monza nearing deals for Benfica striker Gustavo Varela and Sporting CP left-back Ricardo Mangas, while Fiorentina is monitoring Real Madrid’s Franco Mastantuono.
Additionally, Atalanta has set a €50 million valuation for Charles De Ketelaere, and Lazio is exploring alternatives to John Kennedy, including Milan’s Santiago Gimenez. In other developments, Christian Comotto has extended his contract with Milan until 2031, Lucas Da Cunha has signed an extension with Como until 2031, Miguel Veloso has joined Pisa as Primavera coach, and Schalke 04 is tracking Napoli’s Jesper Lindstrom.
Roma is also evaluating Andreas Schjelderup, Antonio Nusa, and Diego Moreira as potential targets.
Christian Comotto, 18, has signed a contract extension with Milan until 2031.
