The Rockets' chase initially faltered as they slipped to 46 for 3 within 30 balls. Tom Curran claimed the wicket of Finn Allen, while Aneurin Donald was dismissed following a run-out. Richard Gleeson further hampered the visitors by removing Sam Billings for a duck and later Ben Duckett for 27 off 26 balls.
