AC Milan has established firm transfer conditions for Rafael Leao, signaling that the club will reject any proposal involving a loan with an option to buy. As the Portuguese international seeks a move away from the San Siro this summer, interest has emerged from Turkey, with both Galatasaray and Fenerbahce preparing to present their respective projects to the forward.
While Leao had initially prioritized a potential transfer to the Premier League or LaLiga, he has yet to receive any concrete offers from those leagues. Consequently, he is currently scheduled to join the rest of the AC Milan squad for their upcoming pre-season tour in Australia.
Reports suggest that the Turkish clubs are moving quickly to try and sway the player before he departs for the tour. According to Turkish transfer expert Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, Fenerbahce intends to send representatives to Italy next week to hold personal meetings with Leao.
The player, who is currently in Brazil to promote his clothing line, recently had the opportunity to meet his childhood hero, Neymar. During his time away, the forward has openly acknowledged his desire to find a new club during the current transfer window.
