Ivan Perisic is reportedly eager to secure a return to Inter Milan and may request an exit from PSV Eindhoven this summer. The 37-year-old wingback, who demonstrated his ongoing quality with Croatia during the 2026 World Cup, is said to be seeking a fresh challenge back with the Nerazzurri.
Reports from Tuttosport and Calciomercato suggest that the veteran player is hopeful for a reunion with the Serie A side. Perisic previously spent significant time at Inter between 2015 and 2019, followed by a loan spell at Bayern Munich and a return to San Siro before his departure on a free transfer to Tottenham Hotspur in July 2022. Following his time in England, he played for Hajduk Split before joining PSV Eindhoven in 2024 on a contract set to expire at the end of the current campaign.
During his previous tenure at Inter, Perisic made 254 competitive appearances, contributing 55 goals and 50 assists. If a return were to materialize, the club views him as a potential understudy to Federico Dimarco on the left wing. Additionally, his versatility would allow him to play on the right side, an area where Inter has struggled to find a replacement for Denzel Dumfries. Inter had previously attempted to bring the player back in January 2026, though that approach was rebuffed by PSV Eindhoven.
