Inter Milan Begin Pre-Season With 16-0 Win in Germany

Inter Milan have officially kicked off their pre-season preparations in Germany, securing a resounding 16-0 victory against local lower-league team SV Aasen. The match took place in Donaueschingen, where the Nerazzurri are currently based for their summer training camp.

The squad, led by Cristian Chivu, has been undergoing intensive double training sessions since Monday. The friendly match on Wednesday allowed the coaching staff to utilize two distinct XIs, providing playing time to a mixture of established Serie A stars and promising young talents. The first half saw the Italian side net six goals, while an additional 10 were added after the interval.

Davide Frattesi set the tone early, scoring a brace within the first 11 minutes. Luka Topalovic, a 20-year-old talent who spent the 2025-26 season with the club's U23 side, followed with a hat-trick, while 19-year-old Mattia Mosconi added a goal before the break. The first-half lineup featured Di Gennaro, Pavard, Asllani, Bastoni, L.Henrique, Frattesi, Zielinski, Akinsanmiro, Marello, Mosconi, and Topalovic.

The second half saw a dominant display from Pio Esposito, who recorded five goals. Midfielder Andy Diouf and 18-year-old winger Jamal Iddrissou both contributed braces, with Federico Dimarco also finding the back of the net. The second-half side consisted of J.Martinez, Bisseck, Bovio, C.Augusto, Diouf, Barella, Stankovic, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco, Esposito, and Iddrissou.

The comprehensive scoring sequence began with Frattesi at the 1st and 11th minutes, followed by Topalovic at the 15th, 20th, and 38th. Mosconi scored in the 43rd minute. After the break, Diouf struck in the 48th and 64th minutes, while Esposito found the net in the 52nd, 67th, 82nd, 87th, and 89th minutes. Iddrissou added goals in the 60th and 75th minutes, and Dimarco scored in the 69th minute.
