Roma is currently engaged in discussions with Chelsea and the representatives of defender Axel Disasi. According to reports from France, the Italian club is looking to bolster its squad by securing the 28-year-old, though they face a significant hurdle as Chelsea has set an asking price of €20m for the player.
The Serie A side, which recently experienced frustration after missing out on West Ham United winger Crysencio Summerville to Al-Hilal, has shifted its focus back to Premier League targets. Roma is now in active negotiations with both the London club and the entourage representing Disasi to determine if a deal can be finalized.
Disasi has experience in the Premier League, having spent the last six months on loan at West Ham United, where he served as a teammate to Summerville during the team's relegation campaign. Given that his current contract with Chelsea runs until June 2029, Roma is aiming to negotiate a loan move that includes an option to purchase the defender at the conclusion of the season.
