Juventus has received a boost with the return of Kenan Yildiz to training at the Continassa. The Turkey international, who has been managing a knee problem in recent weeks, underwent routine checks at the J Medical centre before rejoining his teammates. Club staff are implementing a carefully managed, tailored programme for the number 10 to ensure his reintegration proceeds without risk of relapse, as he remains a key figure in Luciano Spalletti’s tactical plans.

Alongside Yildiz, new signing Zeki Celik has also progressed in his recovery, moving from individual work to participating in full group training sessions starting today. However, the club faces uncertainty regarding Jeff Ekhator, who was forced off the pitch during Saturday’s friendly match against Basel due to a thigh injury. Ekhator is set to undergo medical scans to determine the severity of the issue, with the club expressing hope that the setback is not serious.

The recent encounter with Basel highlighted a significant area of concern for Juventus, specifically the need for a reliable centre-forward. Club officials Giovanni Carnevali and Frederic Massara are under mounting pressure to accelerate transfer activities. With the goal of signing two forwards to finalize a squad that Spalletti believes can serve as a foundation for his project, Randal Kolo Muani and Mateo Pellegrino have emerged as the primary transfer targets.
