Aiden Markram, Laura Wolvaardt, and Simon Harmer emerged as the primary honorees at the 2026 Cricket South Africa (CSA) Awards, recognized for their exceptional contributions throughout the season. Alongside these top individual achievements, fast bowler Lungi Ngidi and wicketkeeper-batter Quinton de Kock were also celebrated with multiple accolades.
Simon Harmer, 37, secured the Test Player of the Year award. Between April 2025 and 2026, the offspinner claimed 30 wickets in four matches, notably taking eight wickets against Pakistan in Rawalpindi and leading South Africa to a series sweep over India with match hauls of 8 for 51 and 9 for 101 in Kolkata and Guwahati, respectively.
Laura Wolvaardt dominated the women's categories, earning the Women's Player of the Year, SA Women's Players' Player of the Year, and Women's ODI Player of the Year. Her eligibility period was marked by consistent scoring, including 571 runs in the 2025 ODI World Cup at an average of 71.37, with centuries in both the semi-final and final. She also led scoring in New Zealand and was named Player of the Series during a home T20I series against India after scoring 330 runs in five matches.
Aiden Markram was the standout in the men's all-format categories, winning both the SA Men's Player of the Year and SA Men's Players' Player of the Year. His leadership was highlighted by South Africa's success in the World Test Championship final against Australia. Lungi Ngidi earned the Men's T20 International Player of the Year and the SA Fans' Player of the Year, while his dismissal of Jos Buttler in an ODI against England was voted the Best Men's Delivery of the year.
Matthew Breetzke received the Men's ODI International Player of the Year award, while the Newcomer of the Year titles went to Dewald Brevis for the men and Kayla Reyneke for the women.
In the SA20 competition, Quinton de Kock was named Batter of the Season and Betway SA20 Player of the Season. Ottneil Baartman took home the Bowler of the Season award, and Jordan Hermann was named Rising Star of the Season. Domestic MVP honors were awarded to Kyle Simmonds and Mignon du Preez, with coaching awards going to Robin Peterson, JP Triegaardt, and Sandile Masengemi.
Additional recognition included Arno Jacobs as Umpires' Umpire of the Year, Lubabalo Gcuma as CSA Umpire of the Year, and Sinalo Jafta, who received the Makhaya Ntini Power of Cricket Award.
