Juventus is actively working to secure the services of midfielder Franck Kessié as the club navigates a significant injury concern involving Khephren Thuram. The French midfielder is currently suffering from patellofemoral pain syndrome, a knee issue that will sideline him for the entirety of the pre-season. Thuram is expected to undergo a separate training program throughout the summer, with the club hopeful that he will be fit and eligible for competitive action by September.
Franck Kessié, formerly of AC Milan, is currently available as a free agent after opting not to sign a contract extension with his previous club, Al-Ahli. While the player is reportedly interested in the prospect of moving to Juventus, financial hurdles remain. The former Milan star has requested a salary package ranging between €5m and €6m, alongside a substantial signing bonus for himself and his agent.
