Türkiye has officially advanced to the final of the 2026 CEV Women’s European Volleyball Championship. The reigning champions secured their place on Saturday with a commanding 3-0 victory over Serbia in the semifinal match held in Istanbul.

The match saw Türkiye dominate throughout, winning the three sets with scores of 25-20, 25-19, and 25-20. The opening set began as a tight contest, with Türkiye holding an 11-9 lead before Serbia requested a timeout. Türkiye returned to the court with renewed momentum, extending their lead to 14-10 and eventually 17-13, prompting a second timeout from the Serbian side. Despite a late effort from Serbia to narrow the gap to 21-19, Türkiye held firm to clinch the first set 25-20.

In the second set, Türkiye established an early 8-3 advantage, forcing another Serbian timeout. Although Serbia managed to pull within two points at 11-9, the home side—known as the Sultans of the Net—regained control. They extended their lead to 18-13 and closed out the set 25-19 to take a 2-0 lead in the match.

The final set followed a similar pattern, with Türkiye jumping to a 3-0 lead and forcing an early timeout from Serbia. Further dominance saw the lead expand to 7-2 and then 10-3 after a second Serbian timeout. While Serbia mounted a late comeback attempt to reduce the deficit to 21-18, the reigning champions remained composed, finishing the set 25-20 and completing the 3-0 sweep. Türkiye will now face the winner of the semifinal between Italy and Poland in Sunday's final in Istanbul.
