Sweden Election: Tell Us How You Want Us To Report

Published: August 17, 2026, 4:55 pm

With less than one month remaining until Sweden heads to the polls, we are reaching out to our readers once again to better understand how we can serve you during this election cycle. On September 13th, voters will participate in three distinct elections: local, regional, and national.

Some of our readers may be Swedish citizens with the right to vote in the national elections, others may be able to vote in the local and regional elections, and some of you not at all. Regardless of your personal ability or intent to cast a ballot, we believe that everyone living in Sweden has the right to be heard within the public debate.

Our goal is to provide comprehensive coverage that empowers you to make informed decisions and navigate the complexities of Swedish politics. We aim to help you speak with confidence on the issues that matter most to your life, while still finding room to highlight and occasionally laugh at the more unusual campaign stunts. To ensure our reporting remains focused on the topics that are most relevant to our audience—foreigners residing in Sweden—we are asking you to complete a brief survey.

Your feedback is essential in shaping our editorial approach. We'd love to know what feels most helpful and relevant to you ahead of the election, which issues matter the most to you, and what questions you have. Thank you for your participation and for helping us ensure that foreign residents are not sidelined in the upcoming Swedish election.

That's why I'm asking you to fill out the survey below (or click here if it doesn't appear for you).
