Zimbabwe has confirmed its 15-player squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against India, which is scheduled to take place in Harare on July 23, 25, and 26. Led by captain Sikandar Raza, the team features three significant changes from their previous setup as they prepare to face the reigning ICC Men's T20 World Cup champions.

All-rounder Wessly Madhevere returns to the national side after sitting out the recent T20I series against Bangladesh. Joining him is fast bowler Newman Nyamhuri, who has successfully recovered from the physical niggle that sidelined him during the Bangladesh series. Additionally, wicketkeeper-batter Tafadzwa Tsiga has received his maiden call-up to the international T20I format.

Tanaka Chivanga, who originally joined the squad as a replacement for Nyamhuri during the Bangladesh series, has maintained his position in the team. Conversely, Clive Madande, Tinotenda Maposa, and Tashinga Musekiwa have been excluded from the selection for the India matches.

The full Zimbabwe squad includes Sikandar Raza (captain), Brian Bennett, Ryan Burl, Tanaka Chivanga, Ben Curran, Brad Evans, Wessly Madhevere, Tadiwanashe Marumani, Wellington Masakadza, Blessing Muzarabani, Dion Myers, Richard Ngarava, Newman Nyamhuri, Milton Shumba, and Tafadzwa Tsiga.

Zimbabwe approaches the series against India following an encouraging home campaign against Bangladesh. Although they suffered a defeat in the T20I series, the team secured an innings victory in the one-off Test and clinched the ODI series with a 2-1 result in Harare.
