Reports from Russian media indicated that the strikes successfully reached a major oil refinery.
Ukrainian officials have formally confirmed the military action, stating that the facility was targeted as part of a strategic effort to diminish the military capabilities of the Russian aggressor. Separately, the World Health Organization's European office announced that one of its warehouses in the Dnipro region was struck twice in less than 24 hours. The incident resulted in the destruction of emergency medical supplies valued at approximately $500,000 that were designated for front-line health facilities.
