More than a month after their lavish wedding weekend, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been photographed sporting their new wedding bands in public for the first time. The couple, both 36, showcased their gold rings during separate weekend appearances across the globe.
Kelce arrived at the Kansas City Chiefs' first preseason game on Saturday, August 15, wearing a gold ring on his left hand. Meanwhile, Swift stepped out in the English countryside to attend the wedding of mix engineer Oli Jacobs and recording engineer Laura Sisk, both of whom she has collaborated with in the past. Close-up photos, which were first shared by DeuxMoi on Sunday, August 16, showed a gold wedding band resting just below her prominent engagement ring.
The singer's new gold band appears to complement her antique-style engagement ring, which Kelce presented during a romantic, rose-adorned proposal last August. While the designer of the couple's wedding rings has not been disclosed, Kelce worked with Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry to design Swift's single-stone, elongated-cushion engagement ring.
Following the couple's 2025 engagement, jewelry experts offered varying estimates of the ring's value. Ann Grimmett, the VP of Merchandising at Jared Jewelers, described the ring as "traditional with a modern flair" with a center stone that "appears to be a bezel set 7 to 9 ct elongated old mine cushion cut, set in 18k yellow gold," estimating its cost at approximately $250,000 to $500,000. Jeweler Laura Taylor of Lorel Diamonds estimated the value at $675,000 to $1 million, while Nadine Tacorian Arzerounian, co-owner and head of design at luxury jeweler Tacori, estimated it at $500,000. Arzerounian noted that the rare shape and size make an exact valuation difficult, explaining that "the reason it's so difficult to give a hard cost on it is that it's an old mine cut, so it's an antique diamond. They're really rare; there are not that many out in the market, especially if it's around an 8-carat."
Details from Kelce and Swift's Fourth of July wedding weekend have slowly emerged through guests who allegedly signed nondisclosure agreements, though the couple has shared very little information and no official photos. They did confirm through Swift's publicist that the bride and groom wore Christian Dior Haute Couture designed by creative director Jonathan Anderson. Travis's brother, Jason Kelce, served as best man, while Swift's brother, Austin, was the man of honor. The ceremony was officiated by actor Adam Sandler, Kelce's costar in "Happy Gilmore 2."
Kelce shared his first public comments about the marriage on August 12 during NFL training camp, telling reporters, "Wedding was the best night of my life," and adding, "I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us."
With Swift now wearing her new wedding band, observers are waiting to see if she will continue to wear her luxurious engagement ring as part of her ring finger stack or choose to keep it simple with just the band.
