Roma dominated their latest pre-season friendly, securing a 6-0 victory over Serie D side Trastevere. The match served as a significant test, marking the first summer appearance for Dutch international Donyell Malen following his participation in the 2026 World Cup. Malen made an immediate impact, opening the scoring just three minutes into the game after connecting with an assist from Devyne Rensch.

The first half saw the Giallorossi in commanding form, with Paulo Dybala adding a second goal following setup work from Bryan Cristante. Cristante then found the net himself, assisted by Malen. Before the break, Wesley hit the woodwork, and Luigi Cherubini extended the lead to 4-0 at the 35-minute mark. Defender Evan N'Dicka also made his first appearance of the campaign during this period.

Roma utilized a completely different starting eleven for the second half, which resulted in two additional goals from Angelino and 17-year-old talent Antonio Arena. While the squad saw significant rotation, Robinio Vaz and Niccolo Pisilli were sidelined due to injuries, and Matias Soule was rested for the fixture.

The Roma lineup for the first half featured Svilar, Mancini, Ndicka, Hermoso, Rensch, Cristante, Bah, Wesley, Dybala, Cherubini, and Malen. The second-half side consisted of Gollini, Ziolkowski, Seck, Ghilardi, Lulli, Giammattei, Panico, Angelino, Camara, Dovbyk, and Arena.
