Pakistan concluded their tour of Sri Lanka with a four-wicket victory in the third T20I match held in Dambulla. Sri Lanka opted to bat first and started aggressively, reaching 44/1 by the end of the Powerplay. Captain Chamari Athapaththu led the early scoring, hitting two boundaries in the opening over and building a 36-run partnership with Imesha Dulani before Dulani was stumped in the sixth over. Sanjana Kavindi continued the momentum, helping the team reach 72/1 by the end of the 11th over alongside Athapaththu.
The momentum shifted in the 12th over when Momina Riasat took two wickets, dismissing both set batters and sparking a collapse. Pakistan maintained pressure, conceding only 22 runs and allowing no boundaries during the final four overs, which limited Sri Lanka to 113/6 at the end of their 20 overs. Momina Riasat finished with bowling figures of 2-18, while Chamari Athapaththu was the top scorer for the hosts with 34 runs.
In response, Pakistan began their chase with a 29-run opening stand that included six boundaries. Despite Kavisha Dilhari dismissing both openers within three overs, Pakistan reached 44/2 at the end of the Powerplay. Ayesha Zafar anchored the innings, finding boundaries under pressure to keep the team in the hunt. Although Zafar was eventually dismissed by Athapaththu in the 17th over for 39 off 31 balls, her performance ensured Pakistan was close to the target, and the victory was finalized in the 19th over.
