State media reported on Friday that North Korea is set to significantly escalate its military posture. According to a directive issued during a recent meeting of the country’s military commission, Pyongyang intends to bolster its nuclear force, focusing on improvements in both quality and quantity.
In addition to these nuclear advancements, the government announced a strategic shift in its intelligence operations. Plans are underway to expand spying activities directed at South Korea, which officials described as a move to be implemented in a radical way.
