Milan manager Ruben Amorim has confirmed his starting XI for the club's opening pre-season friendly, which takes place on Saturday at Celtic Park in Glasgow. The match, scheduled for a 15.00 BST kick-off, sees the Rossoneri deploying a 3-4-2-1 formation as they continue their preparations for the upcoming Serie A campaign.

The two clubs enter the fixture at different stages of their respective summers. While this marks Celtic's final friendly before the Scottish Premiership season commences, Milan still have nearly a month of preparation ahead. Amorim is currently navigating the absence of several key first-team players who are unavailable due to their participation in the 2026 World Cup, including Mike Maignan, Adrien Rabiot, Luka Modric, Rafael Leao, and Christian Pulisic.

To address these absences, the manager has selected a squad balanced between youth and experience. The defensive unit features Fikayo Tomori, Matteo Gabbia, and Strahinja Pavlovic, supported by wing-backs Zachary Athekame and Davide Bartesaghi. In the heart of the midfield, Samuele Ricci is paired with teenage talent Christian Comotto, while the attack consists of Ruben Loftus-Cheek alongside 19-year-olds Lorenzo Ossola and Andrej Kostic.

Celtic enter the match with a 4-3-3 setup featuring Sinisalo, Donovan, Carter-Vickers, Murray, Tierney, McGregor, Engels, McCowan, Forrest, Duran, and Toune Tounekti. Their substitutes include Doohan, Gill, Scales, Balikwisha, Osmand, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Bernardo, McArdle, Montgomery, Hatton, Hatate, Turley, and Ralston.

Milan's starting line-up is as follows: Torriani; Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Athekame, Ricci, Comotto, Bartesaghi; Loftus-Cheek, Ossola; Kostic. The Rossoneri bench includes Bouyer, Pittarella, Gila, Odogu, F. Terracciano, Vladimirov, Cissè, Fofana, Musah, Vos, Borsani, Camarda, Chukwueze, and Guernier.
