London’s Metropolitan Police have confirmed they are conducting an investigation into donations directed toward a political party in the lead-up to the 2024 UK General Election. The inquiry follows an official referral submitted by the Electoral Commission.
According to a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police, the investigative process was formally initiated in February 2025. The case concerns financial contributions made to the party, which is led by Nigel Farage, during the period preceding the national vote.
