Napoli head coach Max Allegri has been forced to withdraw from a scheduled appearance with supporters this evening after coming down with an illness. The former Juventus and Milan manager was slated to participate in a question and answer session alongside his coaching staff at the club's pre-season training camp in Dimaro.
The event was officially cancelled as Allegri is currently suffering from flu symptoms. His absence also extended to today's training session, where his assistant manager stepped in to oversee the players' preparations. Provided his condition does not persist, the coach is expected to return to the field on Wednesday.
While this event was meant to engage fans, Allegri has already been formally unveiled in Naples during a previous appearance at the Teatro San Carlo, which was attended by President Aurelio De Laurentiis, media representatives, and VIP guests. As the team continues its summer preparations, Napoli has been utilizing a 4-3-3 formation and remains scheduled to play a friendly match against Arezzo on Wednesday evening.
