Juventus are moving closer to securing the services of Jhon Lucumi, as the club prepares to table an offer of €20 million plus bonuses to Bologna for the Colombian international. Reports indicate that the defender has already reached an agreement on personal terms with the Bianconeri, with transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirming that Lucumi has prioritized a move to Juventus and has already shaken hands on a potential contract.
While the player's desire to join the Turin-based club is clear, the primary obstacle remains the discrepancy between the two clubs regarding a transfer fee. Although a previous release clause set at €28 million has already expired, Bologna remains firm in its valuation, maintaining that it is not prepared to sanction a departure for any fee lower than €25 million.
Lucumi, who is currently under contract with the Rossoblù until June 2027, has become a key target for Juventus. Despite the ongoing negotiations, the club is now working to bridge the gap between their proposed €20 million package and Bologna's financial expectations to finalize the deal.
