Manchester City striker Erling Haaland recently delighted his social media followers by disclosing his unique coffee order while in the United States. The interaction occurred after a digital creator known as @heipolita_ posted a video on Instagram specifically asking for the football star's preferences, captioning the post with a query about whether Haaland was truly active online.
Haaland responded directly in the comment section, detailing his specific routine: "Mold free coffee, raw milk & raw honey ! (Add the raw honey after the temperature drops a bit with a wooden spoon!)." The post quickly went viral, with the creator expressing disbelief that the athlete had noticed their request. In a follow-up, @heipolita_ clarified that due to health code regulations, their café cannot serve raw milk, noting that the "raw" component in their drink refers exclusively to the honey used.
The Norwegian forward, who recently helped his national team reach the quarter-finals of the FIFA World Cup for the first time by scoring seven goals on his debut, has gained a reputation for his active and often unexpected social media presence during his downtime. He is currently enjoying an offseason break following a demanding year of commitments for both club and country.
Beyond his social media activity, Haaland continues to make headlines for his performance-related milestones. The striker has officially become the most expensive player in the history of the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) ahead of the 2026/27 season, with a valuation of £15.5m. This figure represents a £1.5m increase from the previous season and surpasses his own prior record of £15.0m set during the 2024/25 campaign. He was valued at £14.0m in the 2023/24 and 2025/26 campaigns, with both sitting joint-fourth in the table. Haaland now holds four spots on the list of the 10 most expensive FPL players ever. For managers, his record-breaking valuation leaves just £84.5m to allocate across the remaining 14 players in their 15-man squad.
