In a message shared on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal under the hashtag #VictoryIsOurs, Erdogan described the event as a testament to the Turkish nation's resilience and unshakeable courage.
Reflecting on the night of the uprising, the First Lady stated that the defenders of the country became a light against darkness. She emphasized that these individuals acted as the voice of the national will and served as honorable protectors of the country's independence. She further noted that the sacrifices made to safeguard democracy during that period would remain a permanent part of the nation's memory.
Erdogan also took the opportunity to express her gratitude toward the victims of the failed coup. She offered her commemoration to the noble martyrs of July 15 and extended her appreciation to the heroic veterans who were wounded during the resistance.
