Cardi B has officially released her new solo single, "AH HA," marking her first solo track of 2026. To celebrate the launch, the rapper shared a segment of the accompanying music video on Instagram this past Friday, a post that has already garnered over 1.6 million likes. The video, produced by DJ SwanQo—who previously collaborated with the artist on "Up" and "Get Up 10"—features Cardi B dancing and lip-syncing within a hair salon setting.

In the visual, the artist sports a vibrant pink pixie haircut with yellow highlights, paired with a yellow bikini, high heels, and long turquoise nails. Her ensemble is complemented by bold jewelry and several tattoos, most notably a large floral piece. The video opens with Cardi B posing with a hair dryer before she maneuvers through the salon, gesturing toward the camera, and concluding with a series of close-up shots and a wink. This release follows her second album, AM I THE DRAMA?, and the subsequent Little Miss Drama Tour.

The artist, who welcomed a baby boy with NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs in November 2025, has faced intense public scrutiny regarding her private life. She shares three other children, including a daughter born in September 2024 with her ex-husband, Offset. Addressing the constant media attention on July 21, Cardi B expressed frustration over being the subject of rumors, specifically regarding alleged dating links to Maduka Okoye. She compared her experience to being "hip-hop's Britney Spears," noting that she feels unable to conduct basic public activities without facing assumptions.

"You gotta take the good with the bad," the rapper remarked, acknowledging the nature of fame. Speculation regarding her personal life intensified after she was spotted with Okoye in Paris on July 8 at events including the Jean Paul Gaultier Fall/Winter 2026 Haute Couture Show and a Messika presentation. They were later seen dining together in Venice, Italy. Amidst this, the rapper has also faced criticism, including an accusation from an individual named Chris regarding the alleged sharing of a private video, as well as separate controversy involving Jelicia Westhoff, the mother of Okoye’s child.

The rapper said people constantly watch and talk about her every move."I'm really hip-hop's Britney Spears…

Nobody reports about it because nobody gives a [expletive]," she said. She added that she feels she cannot do anything in public without people making assumptions."When it comes to me …
