Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, has shared highlights from a family vacation in Hawaii. The trip includes the couple's three children: daughter Sterling Skye, son Patrick "Bronze" Lavon, and baby daughter Golden. Brittany documented the getaway on Instagram, posting images of the family enjoying the beach, building sandcastles, and riding boogie boards in life jackets. The family also enjoyed meeting Disney characters, including Stitch, Angel, and Chip 'n' Dale.
Reflecting on the trip, Brittany noted the milestones her children reached during the vacation, stating, "Took the kiddos to Hawaii, Bronze decided he's not scared of mascots anymore and Sterling decided she's not scared of the ocean anymore and Golden. Well she's in her own world. I would say we had the time of our life." The post drew supportive comments from Kelly Stafford, wife of Matthew Stafford, who praised Brittany for creating memories with her children.
While the family is away, Patrick Mahomes is stationed at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri, for the Chiefs' training camp. The quarterback has been cleared for full practice by head coach Andy Reid and orthopedic surgeon Dr. Dan Cooper. This return to the field comes approximately seven months after he suffered ACL and LCL tears in his left knee during a Week 15 game against the Los Angeles Chargers last season. Although he wears a knee brace for comfort, he is participating without major restrictions, and the team expects him to be ready for Kansas City's 2026 season opener against the Denver Broncos. The couple later welcomed son Patrick "Bronze" Lavon Mahomes III on Nov. 20, 2021, more than a year before the wedding.
Before leaving for training camp on July 26, Patrick shared a moment with his daughter Sterling, which Brittany commemorated with an emotional social media post. Prior to her departure for Hawaii, Brittany also participated in the Aug. 3 launch event for KC Current Studios, where she spoke on her role as co-owner of the KC Current and the importance of elevating women's sports. Hawaii holds personal significance for the couple, as they were married in Maui in March 2022.
