The Bangladesh women's cricket team is scheduled to embark on its maiden bilateral tour of England in September 2027, participating in a six-match white-ball series. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) officially confirmed the upcoming fixtures, which will consist of three T20 Internationals and three One Day Internationals.
The T20I leg of the tour begins on September 8 in Northampton. The series will continue with matches in Taunton on September 10 and Worcester on September 12. Following the T20 matches, the teams will shift to the ODI format, with games slated for Hove on September 17, Canterbury on September 21, and Chelmsford on September 24.
This historic women's tour follows the Bangladesh men's team's own landmark visit to England earlier that year. The men's side is set to play a one-off Test match at Lord's starting on May 28, 2027, marking their first Test appearance in England since 2010.
ECB Chief Executive Officer Richard Gould expressed enthusiasm regarding the upcoming schedule, emphasizing the importance of these tours in strengthening cricketing relations between the two nations. He noted that the board is excited to host both the men's team for their first home Test match since 2010 and the women's team for their white-ball series.
