Following the conclusion of the FIFA World Cup 2026™, extensive coverage of European club football is set to resume. Live and exclusive access to the 2026-27 season will be provided across 24 markets in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The network remains committed to maintaining a two-decade tradition of providing high-standard sports coverage to the region.
The season kicks off with the UEFA Super Cup on 12 August in Salzburg, where Champions League holders Paris Saint-Germain will compete against Europa League winners Aston Villa. This match marks Aston Villa’s first appearance in the fixture since 1982. Domestic league action follows shortly after, with the Turkish Süper Lig and LaLiga beginning on 15 August. The Premier League and Ligue 1 will commence on 21 August, highlighted by champions Arsenal hosting newly promoted Coventry City. Notably, the upcoming LaLiga season will feature the return of Jose Mourinho to Real Madrid after a 13-year hiatus, while Paris Saint-Germain prepares to defend its Ligue 1 title.
A significant regional highlight this season is the move of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah to Trabzonspor. Following his performance as captain for Egypt at the FIFA World Cup 2026™, his appearances in the Turkish Süper Lig will be broadcast live. Furthermore, comprehensive coverage of the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Conference League begins this month with two-legged play-off matches, leading into the league phase starting on 8 September. The path to the final at Madrid's Metropolitano Stadium will be covered in its entirety.
To support live broadcasts, expert analysis, dedicated studio programming, and commentary will be available in Arabic, English, and French across all platforms throughout the season.
