Paul Walter, making only his second appearance of the tournament, anchored the Super Giants' effort with a blistering 64 off just 32 balls, an innings that included six fours and four sixes. He was well supported by Tim Seifert, who contributed 55 from 34 balls. The pair established a dominant opening partnership, propelling the visitors to 119/0 within 63 balls. However, the innings suffered a dramatic collapse shortly after; Seifert was dismissed via a direct hit from Moeen Ali, triggering a slide that saw the team lose seven wickets for only 30 additional runs.
