Emily Mayfield, wife of NFL player Baker Mayfield, has shared details of her recent post-pregnancy skincare treatments. Just four months after giving birth to their second child, Emily underwent two cosmetic procedures: BroadBand Light (BBL) therapy and microneedling.
"Just finished BBL (BroadBand Light) on my face and arms," Emily posted on Instagram, adding, "Now in for a little microneedling. Watch out world, mama is back." She explained in a follow-up Instagram Story that she opted for the treatments due to significant pigment changes on her face and arms, a recurring issue for her during both pregnancies.
"I just got BBL on my arms … look at that pigment, you guys. That is insane," she stated, noting that while she doesn't suffer from melasma, the pigment is still substantial. Despite her face appearing red immediately after the procedures, Emily expressed optimism, mentioning that the redness would subside quickly. She revealed that she already had a date night planned for the following day and intended to wear makeup.
The Mayfields welcomed their first child, a daughter named Kova Jade, on April 9, 2024, and their second child also in April. The couple, who were featured in Season 3 of Netflix's Quarterback which premiered on July 14, have been navigating family life alongside Baker Mayfield's NFL career. Recently, on August 2, Emily posted a photo from Raymond James Stadium, marking Baker's entry into his ninth NFL season. The image showed Baker holding their toddler, with Emily standing beside a stroller containing their newborn.
