Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers and his fiancée, Cameron Rose Newell, have shared a new milestone in their lives just 14 days after announcing their engagement. The couple, who became engaged on July 23, recently welcomed a new member to their family: a golden retriever puppy named Murphy.

Newell, an influencer and model, took to her Instagram stories on Wednesday to introduce the pet, referring to the puppy as their “new baby boy.” She shared several photos of the dog, including a candid moment where Bowers was seen lying on the floor while the puppy attempted to lick his face, a scene she captioned, “Loves his dad’s face.” The couple previously confirmed their engagement through a joint Instagram reel, which featured a proposal at a scenic, hilly location. Newell captioned that announcement by calling it the best surprise of her life.

Beyond his personal life, Bowers has been making a significant impression on the field. Raiders linebacker Nakobe Dean recently spoke to reporters about the tight end’s impact on the team, noting that Bowers has been instrumental in improving the linebacker group. Dean, who played with Bowers at Georgia, remarked that the tight end’s presence continues to make the defense better. “I give Brock all the praise in the world,” Dean said, highlighting that Bowers’ talent and authentic approach during practice elevate the performance of the entire unit, including players like Quay Walker.

Bowers’ professional standing continues to rise, as evidenced by his placement on the NFL’s Top 100 list last month, where he ranked ahead of veteran Travis Kelce. That achievement was previously celebrated by Newell on social media.
