Dunkley, who previously missed much of England's World Cup campaign, displayed exceptional form, recording her third half-century in six innings. Her 37-ball knock was characterized by tactical awareness and aggressive hitting, including a 76-meter six off Australian leg-spinner Alana King. Despite a brief collapse that saw Nat Sciver-Brunt dismissed for 24 and Ash Gardner out for a golden duck, Dunkley maintained her composure until she was eventually caught at deep midwicket while attempting a shot off Alice Capsey.
