Former Chelsea defender William Gallas has shared a bold prediction regarding the future of Cole Palmer, claiming the midfielder will eventually make a move to Manchester United. While Gallas emphasized that the current moment is not the right time for such a transfer, he remains convinced that the Old Trafford club is a future destination for the player.
Palmer, who developed through the Manchester City academy, has long been known as a supporter of Manchester United. Although rumors of a move to the Red Devils circulated earlier this year, the English midfielder is currently expected to remain with Chelsea for the 2026-27 season. Discussing the potential transition with iPredicta, Gallas stated, "I don't think Cole Palmer will go right now. I don't think it's time to go right now. He will definitely go to Manchester United in the future if he's a big fan, if he's got a dream to play for Man United, he will definitely go there, but right now I don't think so." Gallas added that he believes Palmer should aim for another high-performing season, similar to his output before recent injury struggles, before considering a transfer.

Following his signing, Santos revealed he received a congratulatory message from his former teammate Palmer. "I got a message from Cole [Palmer], he sent a message because he was born here [Manchester], so he knows everything here," Santos noted. "He said all the best for you, for your career, you deserve this, a lot of things."
