Overnight strikes attributed to Ukraine have resulted in two deaths and 12 injuries across the Russian regions of Rostov-on-Don and Belgorod, according to regional authorities. Among those reported injured were two children. In the Belgorod region, the operational headquarters stated via the social media platform Max that one woman, who sustained a shrapnel wound to her temple, received medical attention at the scene. Other injured individuals were transported to local hospitals by ambulance crews for further treatment.
The impact of the attacks caused significant property damage in the area. Authorities reported that several flats within a residential building caught fire, and more than 15 parked vehicles were also ignited. Firefighters were dispatched to extinguish the blazes. Additionally, a private home was partially destroyed, and multiple apartment buildings sustained structural damage. Regional officials confirmed that they are currently conducting assessments to determine the full extent of the damage caused by the strikes. Separately, authorities confirmed that two fatalities occurred during an air attack on the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don.
