Liverpool have reportedly initiated contact with the representatives of Juventus winger Francisco Conceicao as they seek a replacement for Mohamed Salah. The Premier League side is currently looking to bolster their attacking options following the departure of the free agent forward this summer.
While Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola is considered the club's primary transfer target, his high valuation—estimated at approximately €170 million—has forced the English side to look for more economical solutions. Reports from Tuttosport and Calciomercato suggest that the 23-year-old Portugal international, Conceicao, has emerged as a viable candidate. It is understood that Liverpool have already reached out to the player's entourage to gauge his interest and availability.
Juventus, however, are reportedly in no rush to part ways with the winger. The Italian club invested significantly in the player, paying an initial €9.5 million for a loan deal last year, followed by a permanent transfer fee of €32 million this summer. The club is said to be seeking at least €50 million for any potential sale. During his tenure at Juventus last season, Conceicao made 45 competitive appearances, contributing six goals and five assists.
Considering Juve paid €9.5m to get him on loan from FC Porto last year, then another €32m to make the move permanent this summer, they are in no rush to sell.
