A Palestinian family residing in the town of Jalud, located south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, has been forcibly displaced from their home by illegal Israeli settlers. According to local reports, the property, which belongs to Mahmoud al-Tubasi, was seized following nearly three months of escalating harassment. Prior to the takeover, the settlers had reportedly set the residence on fire and established an illegal outpost in the immediate vicinity.
Despite facing a blockade that severely disrupted access to essential resources, the Tubasi family remained in their home for several weeks in defiance of the pressure. The situation worsened significantly when the settlers cut off the electricity supply to the house and actively prevented the family from receiving necessary food, water, and medical supplies. This sustained pressure eventually left the family with no choice but to evacuate the property.
Simultaneously, military operations by the Israeli army have persisted across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem. In the town of Qabatiya, situated south of Jenin, troops conducted raids twice in a single day, which included the restriction of vehicle movement and the interrogation of local residents. In other incidents, soldiers confiscated a water tanker that was intended to supply Palestinian communities in the northern Jordan Valley, while an additional individual was detained in the town of Hizma, located in occupied East Jerusalem.
Official Palestinian figures indicate that since the onset of the conflict in Gaza in October 2023, the Israeli army and illegal settlers have intensified their activities throughout the occupied West Bank. These actions have resulted in the deaths of at least 1,181 Palestinians, with approximately 13,000 wounded and nearly 24,000 arrested.
