A cargo aircraft operated in Pakistan has gone missing with five crew members on board. The plane lost contact with air traffic controllers late Tuesday while flying off the coast of the southern port city of Karachi, as reported by the country’s Civil Aviation Authority.
Following the loss of communication, the Civil Aviation Authority confirmed in a post on X that search-and-rescue operations have been initiated in the Arabian Sea to locate the aircraft. At this time, the specific cause behind the disappearance of the plane remains unknown to officials.
