The service is scheduled to launch on July 1st, 2027, and will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays. Travelers will be able to purchase tickets for the new flights starting October 15th, 2026.

A spokesperson for easyJet confirmed the launch details, while representatives from Rennes airport welcomed the development. A spokesperson for the airport stated that the route offers a double benefit by simplifying travel to the UK for locals and increasing the appeal of Brittany to British tourists. Rennes airport, which is currently undergoing plans for expansion, also announced that it is adding a new easyJet link to Milan.
