Türkiye, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt have collectively issued a joint statement condemning the ongoing hostile attacks conducted by the Houthi militia against Saudi Arabia. The condemnation, released on Sunday under the banner of the “R4 Group,” follows a series of assaults, most notably a deadly strike targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.

According to the statement, these attacks have resulted in civilian casualties, including both deaths and injuries, alongside significant damage to civilian infrastructure and facilities. The four nations characterized the actions as a “blatant violation of international law” and a “flagrant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.” The group further stated that the strikes pose a direct threat to Saudi Arabia’s security, stability, and the safety of its civilian population, labeling them a “dangerous escalation that cannot be justified or accepted under any pretext.”

The R4 Group reaffirmed its solidarity with Saudi Arabia, expressing full support for all legitimate measures taken by the Kingdom to counter these threats, deter the sources of the attacks, and prevent their recurrence, in accordance with the UN Charter and international law. The statement emphasized that the Houthi militia will be held “fully accountable” for the consequences of their actions and any subsequent repercussions that threaten regional and international peace and security. The group concluded by demanding an “immediate and unconditional halt” to all such attacks.
