A fresh wave of Israeli military strikes hit southern Lebanon, with more than 30 explosions reported in the town of Al-Mansouri alone. According to Lebanon's official National News Agency, the attacks in Al-Mansouri targeted residential homes and local infrastructure, leading to the destruction of several houses. In addition to heavy artillery fire, an Israeli drone reportedly dropped containers filled with highly explosive materials directly onto the town.
The military escalation extended across other southern districts near the border with Israel. Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes in Tyre, Nabatieh, Bint Jbeil, and Marjayoun, while ground forces executed artillery bombardments and controlled detonations. In the town of Khiyam, a massive blast shattered windows in neighboring communities, and a drone dropped explosives on residential buildings, igniting a fire.
No casualties were reported from the Saturday attacks, according to official Lebanese sources. This latest offensive followed a prior round of Israeli strikes, shelling, and explosions on Friday that hit homes, a school, residential areas, and infrastructure. Lebanese government figures indicate that Israeli operations have killed nearly 4,400 people and injured 12,500 others in Lebanon since March 2.
