Kerim Alajbegovic has opened up about his decision to join Juventus, describing the move as an opportunity that was simply too significant to pass up. The 18-year-old former Bayer Leverkusen forward noted that when a club of Juventus' stature makes an approach, it is truly difficult to say no. The agreement between the player and the Italian giants was reached with remarkable speed, leading to a medical in Turin where he was accompanied by former Bianconeri midfielder Miralem Pjanic.

Speaking to Tuttosport, Alajbegovic highlighted that Pjanic played a meaningful role in his decision-making process due to his history and influence at the club. He also credited his father for his support in navigating the career move. The teenager emphasized that knowing the club had genuine faith in him was a crucial factor in his choice. Beyond the club's prestige, Alajbegovic sought a path that offered him a key role, finding the necessary assurances from coach Luciano Spalletti. He expressed great enthusiasm for training under Spalletti, praising the coach's attention to detail, precision in passing, and focus on positioning.

The young Bosnian also received praise from Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero, who recently lauded the teenager's talent. Looking to his broader inspirations, the forward continues to study videos of Lionel Messi, whom he considers the greatest player of all time.

Off the pitch, the transition to his new environment has been aided by Kenan Yildiz. The two share a similar background, having both been raised in Germany, which has allowed them to communicate easily. Alajbegovic noted that Yildiz has been a fantastic help, and he is eager to build a partnership with him to help lead Juventus to the top.
