At a packed Marrara Stadium in Darwin, Hasan’s disciplined spell helped dismiss Australia for 198, marking their lowest Test total against Bangladesh and representing the Tigers' most successful bowling performance against the Australians in Test cricket history.
Known for his understated demeanor, Hasan celebrated the achievement simply by looking to the sky before embracing his teammates. This performance was notable as only the second time Bangladesh has managed to dismiss all 10 opposition batters using pace bowlers in a Test innings, a feat previously achieved during the 2024 Rawalpindi Test against Pakistan.
