Harry Kane has been officially awarded the European Golden Shoe for the 2025/26 season. This prestigious honor is bestowed annually upon the highest-scoring player across all of Europe’s top domestic leagues.

The former Tottenham Hotspur striker delivered a prolific performance throughout the campaign for Bayern Munich, while simultaneously maintaining a high level of output for England. Over the course of the season, Kane recorded a total of 73 goals. This tally includes 12 goals scored at the international level for the Three Lions, marking a return that matches his best performance for his country since the 2021/22 season.

Kane also reached significant milestones during this summer’s FIFA World Cup 2026, where the Three Lions achieved their most successful finish ever in a men’s tournament held on foreign soil. As England’s most-capped captain and most-capped outfield player, Kane became the nation’s all-time leading goalscorer in FIFA World Cup history during the event, first matching and then eclipsing the previous record held by Gary Lineker.

Beyond his national records, his tournament performance elevated him to joint fifth place on the all-time list of FIFA World Cup goalscorers, further solidifying his status as one of the most effective forwards in the competition's history.
