Actor Bruce Willis made a rare public appearance to attend the backyard wedding of his 32-year-old daughter, Tallulah Willis, in Sun Valley, Idaho. The ceremony, which took place on August 8 at Tallulah's home, saw her marry musician Justin Acee. Vogue shared photos of the event on August 14, including a touching black-and-white image of the 71-year-old "Die Hard" star embracing his daughter while holding his new son-in-law's hand.
For the special occasion, Bruce wore a short-sleeved button-up shirt, casual trousers, and a woven fedora. Tallulah wore a custom cream Balenciaga gown. Her mother, actress Demi Moore, was also in attendance. Moore, who was married to Bruce from 1987 to 2000, wore a flowy blue satin dress. Together, Bruce and Moore share three children: Rumer, 37, Scout, 35, and Tallulah, 32.
Speaking about her relationship with Acee, Tallulah told Vogue, "We made a decision at the very beginning of our relationship that we were going to choose each other every day." She had previously confirmed their engagement in a December 2024 Instagram post captioned "Everyday," which showed the couple kissing and holding hands amidst candles, rose petals, and a Christmas tree.
Bruce's appearance comes as he continues to navigate the progression of frontotemporal dementia. The "Pulp Fiction" actor retired from his acting career in March 2022 following an initial diagnosis of aphasia. In February 2023, his family revealed that the condition had progressed to frontotemporal dementia. According to the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration, this group of brain disorders primarily impacts the frontal and temporal lobes, which the Mayo Clinic notes are generally linked to personality, behavior, and language.
During a January 28 appearance on the "Conversations with Cam" podcast, Bruce's wife, Heming Willis, shared her perspective on his health journey. She expressed gratitude that he is unaware of his condition, stating, "I think that's the blessing and the curse of this. Bruce never tapped in. He never connected the dots that he had this disease, and I'm really happy about that."
